De woning een oude burcht, open haard meestal aan in de woonkeuken, romantisch interieur en een prachtige omgeving in herfst kleuren. We hebben gewandeld, gefietst, gejogt en Bologna bekeken en ervan genoten. Silvia, je bent een lieve, goede gastvrouw! Bedankt

Het was heerlijk.

Na een jaar vol stress hebben we hier wat rust gevonden én zon én leuke mensen én een mooi iutzicht én lekker eten én lekkere wijn. De kinderen hebben gespeeld en gezwommen en wij gekeken, gekletst, gewandeld en de wereld verbeterd. Met de zon in ons lichaam reizen we weer terug en zullen nog vaak terugdenken aan I Fontanini!

Choosing Fontanini as our holiday destination was an excellent idea!

Our family spent two lovely weeks in Torre in the beginning of July 2006 enjoying pleasent climate, fresh air, quietness, beautiful views and buildings. The friendly and warm hearted people made us feel like home. 
As a designer I paid attention to the interior which had been decorated with good taste. The kids were lucky to have a well equipped swimming pool nearby in the village. That´s why it wasn´t worth driving all the way to the seaside. After doing it once we were happy to be back among the friendly village people away from tourist places...But it was nice to go shopping to Bologna and Modena now and then. The history of art and architecture makes the city of Florence worth visiting over and over again.

Dear Silvia and Riccarda,

We stayed at “Tower” in May 2006 and enjoyed our stay very, very much and wanted to let you know how much we liked it.
The building itself is wonderful, you made a great job on the restoration, the interior is very nicely furnished and decorated, the setting and the environment are great. And we have been lucky with the weather, too. It was a big advantage that the village itself was within walking distance from “Torre”. The fact there are some shops (bakery, grocery, salumi) is very convenient. For us it was a pleasant morning stroll to fetch bread and food for breakfast (or aperitif in the evening) and have our first cappuccino there on the bar terrace. Same thing for the restaurants in the village: we didn't need to take the car with somebody having to drive and cutting on the wine. Especially dinner at that farm just around the corner was a real surprise.
All maps and touristy brochures in the house were very handy: the maps of Bologna and Modena (knowing where to drive and park), the walking trails of the area, etc. May be interesting to mention the tourist office in Zocca but everything necessary was actually in the “Tower”.
I returned completely relaxed but missing I Fontanini already.

Hello Silvia,

I just wanted to let you know that everything worked out fine with “Casa Forte”.  

“Osteria del Sole” was an enjoyable eating experience.  We enjoyed meeting Flavio and Tommaso .  Everyone treated us well.  We enjoyed shopping in Monteombraro and Zocca and had some great experiences as well.

Otherwise, we were very happy with the locale and the ease with which we were able to travel to Bologna, Modena, Ravenna, and Parma.  The "short-cut" was perfect - nobody suffered any further episodes of car-sickness - and the scenery was beautiful. 
That was our primary goal and we enjoyed Emilia Romagna and plan on returning again in the future.
