during your stay at Fontanini it is possible to book a visit to a "Acetaia " where a guided tour in English will explain the traditional manner of Balsamico Vinegar production and stockage. A tasting will follow.

Finally, there is the possibility of having lunch at the Acetaia's Restaurant.

N.B.The visit to Balsamic Vinegar can be combined with the Parmesan cheese visit, as the two factories lie near each other. The second half of the day can be spent in discovering Modena.

PARMESAN CHEESE SECRETS AND TASTES ON THE ROAD TO MODENA CITY:

during your stay at Fontanini it is possible to book a visit to a "Caseificio" to see the actual production of Parmigiano Reggiano. A visit to the factory and a tasting will follow.

N.B. The visit to Caseificio can be combined with the Balsamic Vinegar visit, as the two factories lie near each other. The second half of the day can be spent in discovering Modena.

PARMA HAM SECRETS AND TASTES ON THE WAY TO PARMA CITY:

during your stay at Fontanini it is possible to book a visit to a "Prosciuttificio" near Parma, to see the actual production of raw Ham. A visit to the factory and a tasting will follow.

N.B. The visit to Parma ham factory may be followed by a tour into Parma.
